CBI probe against Manish Sisodiya

CBI probe against Deputy CM for embezzling public money

New Delhi: In a big blow to the Aam Admi Party’s heavy-weight leader Manish Sisodiya, Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Tuesday has registered preliminarily inquiry (PE) against him for allegedly embezzling public money for the ‘Talk to AK’ event of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.

It is alleged that the Deputy CM Manish Sisodia had squandered 1.5 crore rupees on the social media campaign of the talk to AK program. PE is registered on the basis of the complaint received by Delhi Government’s Vigilance department, which was later transferred to the CBI.

A big Public relation company of Delhi, the complaint said, was given the contract for the event to make it a big success. It was alleged that CM’s Principal Secretary had declined to accept the proposal, despite that Manish Sisodiya went ahead to waste the public money.

Infuriated Manish Sisodia took to twitter against Narinder Modi and said “Welcome Modiji. Take the challenge. I will wait for your CBI at my home and office tomorrow morning.” Arvind Kejriwal too didn’t waste time to react on the CBI step, He said Modi Ji people of Punjab and Kerala would teach you a lesson. He once again calls Prime Minister of the country a mentally retarded and coward man.

Talk to AK program was organized in July 2016, in which CM Kejriwal had interacted with People and had given a reply to their questions frankly. It was alleged that easy questions were picked from people and difficult questions were declined by Arvind Kejriwal.
