New Delhi: Parliament of Iran is attacked by three unidentified terrorists on Wednesday leaving one guard killed and many injured, media reports said.
Primary reports say Parliamentarians are hostage inside and security agencies have launched a massive hunt. Terrorists are not yet identified. Local News agency quotes a security personnel as saying, their first priority is to have a minimum casualty in the attack. Efforts are being made to bring out the Lawmakers.
One dead in firing inside parliament and Blast at Khomeini Mausoleum. In the shooting inside one security officer and two visitors also injured. News agency Mehr quoting MP Elias Hazrati reported on Wednesday.
Mixed reports are coming in from local news agencies. One of the agency claims that there is only single shooter inside the Tehran parliamentary complex and others saying there were three men armed with rifles and a pistol.
Reports claim that men made open fire at security personnel deployed outside the Parliament. The shooting spray continues till they reached inside the premises.
