Mulayam Singh signals to have patch-up with son Akhilesh

New Delhi: After a long bout of a scuffle between the father-son duo over the supremacy, Samajwadi Party veteran Mulayam Singh Yadav on Monday, said he has no major issues pending with the Akhilesh Yadav. The minor conflicts which left to address would be sorted out after discussions.

Earlier, Mulayam along the younger brother Shivpal had met the Election commission officers in Delhi to stake a claim on the ‘cycle’- party’s election symbol. He told the EC officers that he founded the party 25 years ago. Therefore he is the sole custodian of the party.

Akhilesh had gone one step ahead by challenging his father as a Chief of the party. He conveyed the meeting in the first week of January with the party MLA’s and declared that he is a new boss of the party. Junior Yadav soon has the plan to meet election commission officer in New Delhi after he got the support of 200 out of 229 party Legislature in the meeting.

, Mulayam on Monday meets with the reporters at his Delhi resident after having a brief meeting with and The Election Commission officer. He said everything will be sorted out soon. There is some problem in the party. In my Knowledge, one person is behind the feud and he is identified. I am sure everything will come under control in few days. Mulayam was accompanied by brother Shivpal and close aide Amar Singh.

Reiterating the claim that he is still the National President of the Samajwadi Party and Shivpal Yadav, a UP Chief, Mulayam Singh Yadav said Akhilesh is our CM. However, he did not forget to mention that the party meeting convened on 1st January by Ram Gopal Yadav in which Akhilesh was elevated as party boss was illegal. Ram Gopal was expelled earlier, he couldn’t convene the meeting.

In many occasion, Mulayam has categorically blamed his cousin Ram Gopal Yadav- a close aid of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav. It is Ram Gopal who met with the officers of the Election commission of India on behalf of Akhilesh. Ram Gopal handed over Six boxes of letters signed by over 200 MLA and 5000 plus party leader and workers claiming that Akhilesh is a party boss from now onward.
